Being worthy, not respectable,
and wealthy, not rich
List'ning to stars and birds,
babes and sages, with open heart
Studying hard and reading much,
Think'ng quietly,
Acting frankly,
Talking gently,
Awaiting occasions, hurrying never in a word,
Letting the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious,
grow up through the common
-this is my symphony.
